    Boom, and we're live.…

    1. JR

Boom, and we're live. What's up, brother? How are you?

    2. CF

Man, Joe Rogan, I am so happy to be here. I-

    3. JR

I'm so happy to see you.

    4. CF

      Fuck!

    5. JR

      You've gone through a journey.

    6. CF

Oh, man, since the last time I seen you.

    7. JR

Is t- yesterday was one year-

    8. CF

      Yes.

    9. JR

... from your heart transplant anniversary.

    10. CF

      Exactly.

    11. JR

      Wow.

    12. CF

One year. And, Joe, if I told you it was easy, I'd be lying. But, man, it was so worth the journey and it ain't even funny, man.

    13. JR

What does it feel like right now? Like having-

    14. CF

      Uh.

    15. JR

... another person's heart in your body? What does that feel like?

    16. CF

Well, a lot of times you'll, it feels like I actually did die and this is just a dream that I'm-

    17. JR

      Wow.

    18. CF

      ... living right now. Yep.

    19. JR

      Wow.

    20. CF

This, this is, uh, I think this, this would be my heaven.

    21. JR

      You look great. You're still-

    22. CF

      Well, thank you.

    23. JR

      ... jacked.

    24. CF

      No, no, I d- I don't think it's-

    25. JR

      You're not losing any weight.

    26. CF

      Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm-

    27. JR

Yeah, but I mean, you still look, you're still jacked. You still got-

    28. CF

      Well-

    29. JR

      ... muscles.

    30. CF

      Uh, (laughs)

  2. 15:0030:00

    Wow. …

    1. CF

gonna see you guys." But when the doctor came in and told me that I had a woman's heart, that socked the shit out of my faith, man.

    2. JR

      Wow.

    3. CF

Because I had done study, you know, I looked, you know, studied on this, the, the, uh, survival rate of male to female, and it wasn't good. The studies that I had read wasn't good. When they do, uh, female to male... I'm sorry, female to male, the tra- it's not good. And I was like, "Everything I had read said it's not a good thing." The doctor comes in and says, "Yep, you got a woman's heart, and she wasn't that much younger than you are." I'm going, "Fuck."

    4. JR

      (laughs)

    5. CF

That, that, you know, socked me. That-

    6. JR

      Yeah.

    7. CF

... tested my faith big time.

    8. JR

      How did she die?

    9. CF

I have no idea. I have no idea. But, um, the thing... (sighs) I have feelings. I, I, and I haven't talked to the family. I would love to. I don't know anything about it, but I have these feelings, and I really would like to know if what I'm feeling is right, you know? I want... I really want to meet the family and let them, you know, let them know that I'm out here doing everything I can to raise donor awareness, and that their mother, or their wife, or their sister, or their aunt didn't die in vain. And that I'm doing my absolute best to carry on and let people know that, you know, she was a donor, and that it's so utterly important for people to donate, to give the gift of life.

    10. JR

What are these feelings that you're having?

    11. CF

I have feelings that, uh, for some reason, I can see that, uh, I feel like she was an Oriental lady.

    12. JR

      Really?

    13. CF

I real- Yeah. And I, and I, you know, I don't know why, uh, but I really have feelings like that, and I feel like I can see this woman, um, telling her husband, you know, "I'll see you when you get home from work," and making plans with her kids for the weekend. And I have no idea if this is right or not.

    14. JR

      Wow.

    15. CF

But I just have those feelings.

    16. JR

      Are they recurring?

    17. CF

      Yes.

    18. JR

      And-

    19. CF

      Yeah.

    20. JR

... do you, do you, like, do you remember it like a memory?

    21. CF

Uh, it's, um, it's like I get to look into her, you know, her existence, her, her life. And I, you know, have no i-... I could be totally wrong.

    22. JR

      Oh.

    23. CF

She could be a Jamaican lady, you know? (laughs)

    24. JR

      Right. (laughs)

    25. CF

I have no idea, uh, uh, if, if I'm in the ballpark or not. I just have this feeling. I just have a feeling.

    26. JR

Wow. Do you have any unusual cravings or anything?

    27. CF

      Mm-hmm.

    28. JR

      Like food or-

    29. CF

Uh, I don't think... Uh, no, I don't think I have any. And I, I do talk to her, and I feel like that, uh, you know, when, when, like, when I was walking around and I try- I'm trying to make it around that block, uh, I would often ask her for help to, uh, help me make it around that block.

    30. JR

      Wow.

  3. 30:0045:00

    Yeah. …

    1. CF

    2. JR

      Yeah.

    3. CF

That's exactly right, man, 'cause time-

    4. JR

      Do you drink coffee?

    5. CF

Time is precious. No, I used to.

    6. JR

      Yeah.

    7. CF

But the caffeine, uh... uh, eh, my doctors-

    8. JR

      Right.

    9. CF

... don't like me to have that caffeine.

    10. JR

      Yeah, I would imagine.

    11. CF

      Yeah.

    12. JR

So, um, rest must be very important for you too.

    13. CF

Yeah, goddang, I get plenty of it. (laughs)

    14. JR

      Yeah.

    15. CF

      Yeah, it is.

    16. JR

What other things do they make sure that you do?

    17. CF

Um, the diet has to be on point, have to take my medication. Uh, they don't want me, uh, to, uh-... you know, do too much strenuous activities. Um, they, they had limited me. I, I wouldn't... I was not able to travel out of the country until yesterday.

    18. JR

      Oh.

    19. CF

      So, yesterday-

    20. JR

      So, that one-year anniversary?

    21. CF

      Yeah.

    22. JR

That's when they give you the green light?

    23. CF

Yep. Now, I can go all over.

    24. JR

What did they say when they saw you run in the parking lot and fall down?

    25. CF

All my doctors and, um, you know, they all said, "Ugh, CT, what we think..." Except one, except one. My cardiologist. And he said, "You know what, CT? I'm not gonna lex you like everybody else did. Uh, you already know that they shouldn't have done that. But man, I am so proud of you." He said, "You have inspired me to start working out again."

    26. JR

      Wow.

    27. CF

Yep. That was Dr. Salam. Dr. Salam, if you're listening, thank you. (laughs) He was the only one that didn't condemn me. (laughs)

    28. JR

How far out were, was that-

    29. CF

      That-

    30. JR

      ... from surgery-

  4. 45:001:00:00

    Yeah. …

    1. JR

      paper.

    2. CF

      Yeah.

    3. JR

That shit's just because there's no sun.

    4. CF

      Exactly.

    5. JR

Their body developed s- like, uh, uh, a solar panel for vitamin D. They're like, "We gotta figure out how to get fucking vitamin D. This Black skin ain't cutting it."

    6. CF

      Yeah. (laughs)

    7. JR

"There's no fucking sun out here."

    8. CF

      Yep.

    9. JR

"And we don't need this melanin 'cause we're not protecting ourselves from the sun anymore." So, they turned white.

    10. CF

      Just that simple.

    11. JR

But did the same exact thing.

    12. CF

Exa- uh, they can take that guy from Ireland, and the guy from Africa, and, and, and this guy needs a part and it's, "Hey, let me switch it up. Let me see."

    13. JR

This gentleman here, Graham Hancock was on my podcast, uh, last week. And he's a brilliant, brilliant guy, but he studies ancient civilizations and people. And one of the things that they're studying now is, um, the various civilizations that we didn't even know existed, that existed in South America. Like, huge m- multimillion s- size of population-

    14. CF

      Wow.

    15. JR

... um, civilizations in the Amazon. Like, 20 million people living in the Amazon at one point in time and they, they, they think they were wiped out by Spanish explorers, um, and European explorers that came over and gave 'em smallpox. Like, the way they wiped-

    16. CF

      Oh, yeah.

    17. JR

... wiped out 90% of the Native Americans.

    18. CF

      Mm-hmm.

    19. JR

They think the same thing happened down there in the Amazon and just, they had huge cities down there that European settlers had reported on that were just wiped out. But the point is that we were, we were everywhere.

    20. CF

      Yeah.

    21. JR

And it's all one thing. It's all human.

    22. CF

      It is.

    23. JR

      It's all humans.

    24. CF

      That's it. The human race.

    25. JR

      Yeah.

    26. CF

      That's it, man. Yeah.

    27. JR

And the funny thing about white people that are racist is that, especially like, I have, uh, Neanderthal DNA that's more primitive than Homo sapien DNA.

    28. CF

      Mm-hmm.

    29. JR

And it's only in white people.

    30. CF

      Yeah.

  5. 1:00:001:15:00

    Yeah. …

    1. JR

We like seeing people, like, that have doubts and- and- and something i- almost insurmountable and incredibly difficult in front of them, and then they- they overcome. And it gives us all hope, and it gives us all, like, this inspiration, this feeling. We're connected in some sort of very, very strange way that I think you could just chalk it up, "Oh, that's just comradery. We needed that because of evolution. That's how we stayed alive." Like, maybe, maybe, but maybe there's something else. Maybe the- the... whatever this consciousness is that's totally not... No one has ever defined consciousness. And there's certain people that think that it occurs only in the brain, in the neurons and the synapses. And it might, or that might just be an antenna. I mean, consciousness might very well be you are using your physical tissue to tune in to whatever this- this thing that we share is, this life force that we all seem to share. And when y- when- when p- there's some things, like, looking in someone's eyes, man...... like, when- when you know someone's, like, there for you, and you know you're there for them, like that camaraderie-

    2. CF

      Yeah.

    3. JR

... that intense camaraderie, there's s- it's like, that- that ex- that expression, "The windows to the soul," that "The eyes are the windows to the soul." It really does seem like that, right?

    4. CF

      It's real. Yeah.

    5. JR

      Like, you see people.

    6. CF

      Mm-hmm.

    7. JR

You see them, you know? Like the Avatar lady said, "I see you." You know?

    8. CF

Yeah. And you can ... It's, um ... Looking at, being able to look into somebody's eyes, you can tell, uh-

    9. JR

      A lot.

    10. CF

Oh, you can tell if they're bullshitin' you.

    11. JR

      Yes, yes. (laughs)

    12. CF

If they're full of shit or not, man. You can-

    13. JR

Or if they feel weird about something.

    14. CF

      Yeah, yeah, or they-

    15. JR

They're feeling insecure, or maybe they feel like maybe this isn't a smart thing, or maybe- maybe- maybe I should've done better by you, or-

    16. CF

      Yeah. You can tell.

    17. JR

... maybe I fucked you over.

    18. CF

      (laughs) Yeah, you can tell.

    19. JR

Yeah, yeah, you can tell that. Yeah.

    20. CF

And I, uh, I- I- I- I'll tell you, the first- first time I had the, uh, uh, open heart surgery and flatlined three times during that surgery, I also had an experience, um, that also strengthens my belief in there being something after the body dies. I, uh, uh, uh, vision or whatever you want to call it, uh, like it was, I see, I s- I was able to see my mother, who had passed away, uh, the year before. And, uh, you know, I say I seen my mother. I- I didn't see her face. I just heard a voice, and I knew it was her. And she was, um, you know, pleading to, uh, I say God. A lot of people may say, you know, what- whatever they look up to, and I ain't got no problem with that. I don't think that, uh, because people don't believe exactly like I believe that they're doomed and they're going to Hell, although that was the way I was raised. Well, if you don't believe like this? I mean, all Catholics, when I- when I, according to my dad, all Catholics were just lost.

    21. JR

      Mm.

    22. CF

They're not gonna make it because they don't, you know, believe-

    23. JR

      They believe the wrong shit.

    24. CF

      Yeah, they not-

    25. JR

      They been fucked up.

    26. CF

They don't believe the right shit.

    27. JR

      (laughs)

    28. CF

So of course they're not gonna make it.

    29. JR

      What about Jews?

    30. CF

Oh, those, those, they're not gonna make it-

  6. 1:15:001:15:56

    (laughs) …

    1. CF

      "Goddamn."

    2. JR

      (laughs)

    3. CF

"Joe's got some of the meanest kicks I have ever seen from anybody." I'm like, "Shit, Joe, I didn't know you could kick that fucking hard, man."

    4. JR

It's a funny thing. Um, there's a guy named John Danaher who's a jujitsu genius, and, uh, he came to me once, and it turned out he actually knew, but he was playing it off like he didn't know. He, he was telling me that he wanted Georges St-Pierre, who was the-

    5. CF

      Oh.

    6. JR

... welterweight champion at the time.

    7. CF

You know I know who Georges St-Pierre is.

    8. JR

      Yeah, of course.

    9. CF

One of my fucking favorites, man.

    10. JR

      He's ... Of course, yeah.

    11. CF

      Yeah.

    12. JR

They wanted him to get some coaching on his, uh, spinning back kick. There was like, uh, he's a, he thinks the fundamentals are a little bit off. "Do you know anybody?" And I was like, "All right, this is gonna sound crazy. I know I'm a comedian, and I know I'm just a commentator, but I, I have a really good spinning back kick." I'm like, "I could show you how to do it, and I could show you as good as any human being that's ever lived." I'm like, "I could show you how to do that."
