Snowpacalypse hits Texas: blackout reality and survival logistics
- JRJoe Rogan
(drumbeats) Joe Rogan podcast, check it out.
- NANarrator
The Joe Rogan Experience.
- JRJoe Rogan
Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night. All day. (rock music)
- TDTim Dillon
Wouldn't it be cool to have like, uh, Aerosmith right now?
- JRJoe Rogan
I'm back.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah. Great.
- JRJoe Rogan
(sings) I'm back in the saddle again.
- TDTim Dillon
Great. The Snowpocalypse, Tim Dillon.
- JRJoe Rogan
(sniffs)
- TDTim Dillon
Hey, holding up? Did I move you out here at a bad time, do you think?
- JRJoe Rogan
I mean, uh, we considered suing you.
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- NANarrator
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
I was sitting there going, "Can I take legal action against him?" Like, I called a lawyer and apparently I cannot.
- TDTim Dillon
Listen, I, I'll give you free meals-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
... every time we go out, forever.
- JRJoe Rogan
We were-
- TDTim Dillon
How about that?
- JRJoe Rogan
I mean, I was on a bread line two days ago.
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
My opener flies into town, we're gonna fly out for shows, all the flights grounded, we can't go anywhere. I mean, we're waiting outside of a supermarket for an hour, and then we're eating fish sticks in the dark of my house with no power. And I'm like, "You know, Joe fucking Rogan, man, uh, this was a real fucking leap of faith." But it's looking better today.
- TDTim Dillon
It'll be fine.
- JRJoe Rogan
It'll be fine.
- TDTim Dillon
Listen, it was a once in... They're calling it a once in a 120-year storm, but I think what that means is like, ever recorded. Like, you go back to 1800 is what we're talking about.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
Or 1900, rather.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
Like when... What was the... What kind of fucking instruments did they... were they using?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, what were they, what were they jotting down?
- 2:03 – 5:26
Ted Cruz (and Austin’s mayor) flee to Mexico: optics vs actual responsibility
- TDTim Dillon
Tell you what was open, the Houston Airport. My boy Ted Cruz is like... (laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, he was out.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
And by the way, isn't it sad that like he couldn't get away with it? It's like, here's the thing about the Bush family. Say what you want about them, maybe whacked Kennedy, bygones, but I mean-
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
... now our leaders can't even get caught taking a commercial flight to Cancun. Like, that's pretty sad.
- TDTim Dillon
But here's the thing, like what can he do? What is the-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
What is the reason for him staying? Is it-
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, I think it's just the optics of how it looks.
- TDTim Dillon
Optics, right.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, but of course. No, he doesn't have any of-
- TDTim Dillon
Can he make it warm out?
- JRJoe Rogan
No, I don't think he has any power to do anything good.
- TDTim Dillon
Maybe he should be there with blankets-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
... to put them over the pikes.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, it's funny, it's like the people that hate him the most are the ones that are like, "He should be there." And it's like, doing what?
- TDTim Dillon
Well, here's-
- JRJoe Rogan
He has...
- TDTim Dillon
... you know. Here's the thing though.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
He was one of the vocal critics of Mayor Adler, who's a Democrat-
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
... who went to Cancun as well. (laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Right. (laughs) What is it? Everybody goes to Cancun?
- TDTim Dillon
I think he was in Cancun. Was he in Cancun or was he in, uh-
- NANarrator
Yeah, he did, yeah, he did a thing at the house or something like that, yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
... one of those. Yes. But it was in Cancun or was it Puerto Vallarta? Well, it was one of those nice places in Mexico.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- 5:26 – 7:53
Big Tech censorship and the creep of deplatforming
- JRJoe Rogan
Deplatforming people or privacy.
- TDTim Dillon
Yes, it was...
- NANarrator
He says it like, "Here..." It's a video of him from this summer. He's like, "Who the hell are..." Let's see.
- TDTim Dillon
Who was he cr- who was he critiquing though? Who was he criticizing?
- NANarrator
Probably like Google.
- TDTim Dillon
Yes.
- NANarrator
And it says, "Ted Cruz on Google and big tech censorship."
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah, there was a...
- NANarrator
"Who the hell are you to decide who can speak?"
- TDTim Dillon
There was...
- NANarrator
Or who can't.
- TDTim Dillon
He was catching them in some hypocrisies and some lies.
- NANarrator
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
And it was like, it was very good the way he was doing it and well-phrased. Like you gotta, you gotta give a little if you're gonna shit on the guy. I was, I was...... that, that fucking tech stuff drives me crazy.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
It drives me... And what drives me crazy is the people on the left that think it's not gonna come for them.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
Like-
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, they're all moving here. All these tech guys are in Austin.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Like, a lot of them are moving here. And there are some of them that are more, uh, I don't know what you would call it, libertarian in their ideology, where they don't want to shut people down and they want people, uh, to speak. But there's just so much, I don't know, it, it just feels like you're... There's a tide coming in and the tide is gonna wash away even those people that are standing up and saying, "This isn't right. We shouldn't do this." I just feel like... 'Cause people are tired. Like, the public doesn't care and I get it. The public doesn't care. The public's like, "You know what? I don't care. Who care-" I, like-
- TDTim Dillon
You don't think they care?
- JRJoe Rogan
I think some of them do, but I think it's one of those things that it doesn't affect that many people. And if it doesn't affect that many people, it's hard to necessarily get up in arms over it. Like with... When Gina Carano gets fired, people are like, "Okay." Like, it doesn't affect that many people. Most people work at jobs where they're not allowed to say anything.
- TDTim Dillon
Mm-hmm.
- JRJoe Rogan
So they work for corporations, they go into an office, they can't say anything, right?
- TDTim Dillon
And they kind of like it when people get in trouble.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, they love when people get in trouble, especially when people outside of the system that are making money get in trouble.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
So people aren't really a- as upset about it and they don't think it's gonna lead to where it's gonna lead to. That was-
- TDTim Dillon
This whole thing with Alex Jones, it's like, it's clearly gonna lead... It's not gonna die with Alex, it's gonna go other places. Right. Once you're getting rid of the freedom of the First Amendment, right? The freedom of speech, which is, you know, as long as you're not doxxing someone or openly threatening someone-
- 7:53 – 10:46
Clubhouse culture and the ‘guardrails’ mindset in Silicon Valley
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, it's weird 'cause they also have billions of dollars. If you go on the Clubhouse app and you listen to these people talk, they are, they're... I know you don't, but they are billionaires or worth hundreds of millions of dollars and their concerns are always like, you, you go into the app and somebody's like, "We need more indigenous, uh, creators. We need more indigenous entrepreneurs or women of color entrepreneurs," or all these goals that are laudable goals, whatever. But they're... Then a white guy will come into the conversation and go, well, he goes, "I don't really... As a white guy, I want to apologize for even speaking."
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs) No.
- JRJoe Rogan
I swear to God.
- TDTim Dillon
Who's done this?
- JRJoe Rogan
This is a guy on Clubhouse goes-
- TDTim Dillon
That's why I'm not on Clubhouse.
- JRJoe Rogan
As a white guy-
- TDTim Dillon
I can't. I can't do this.
- JRJoe Rogan
... he goes, "I wanna..." But you don't... You gotta go into my good rooms, like, "Should women be allowed to own Bitcoin?" That's a real debate.
- TDTim Dillon
Did you make that room?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. The rooms on Clubhouse I make are like, "Should women be allowed to own Bitcoin? Uh, I wanna be a cancer influencer."
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Um, "How do you build a brand in prison? Should I buy a Bitcoin or pay for my son's surgery?" You gotta have fun. Ted, I, the one last night was Ted Cruz has a right to do cocaine with his family in Mexico. Uh, you gotta have fun with it. I troll and just have a little bit of fun. But on that app, you listen to these tech people, and one really big tech, uh, woman who's massive said, like, something that was chilling, she goes, "We gotta put guardrails up online." And as soon as she said, "We gotta put guardrails up," I felt chilled 'cause I'm like, I know what she means by that. And guardrails are just, like, here's where the offensive speech is and we're gonna put the guardrail there and then the guardrail's gonna move.
- TDTim Dillon
Who said this?
- JRJoe Rogan
A very big, uh, person who owns a major app that just went public.
- TDTim Dillon
Jesus.
- JRJoe Rogan
Who's worth bili- 1.5 billion now. And I'm sure she's a lovely, talented woman, but her belief was like, "Hey, we gotta put some guardrails up online," but when I heard it, I went, "This is a very, uh, ominous thing to say because-"
- TDTim Dillon
Right. But, but hold on.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
When, when someone says something like that, she's probably talking about this QAnon shit that led to the Capitol Hill riot.
- JRJoe Rogan
Perhaps. Or she's talking about somebody calling someone fat or somebody saying-
- TDTim Dillon
Oh, really?
- JRJoe Rogan
... someone's a moron or I don't know, but are, are you really... Is it gonna be easy to just draw a line around QAnon stuff? And then, then where's the legitimate discussions-
- TDTim Dillon
Right.
- JRJoe Rogan
... about human trafficking?
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah, no. For sure.
- JRJoe Rogan
And political sh- Yeah, it's hard.
- TDTim Dillon
It's real hard.
- JRJoe Rogan
So I think-
- TDTim Dillon
Did anybody challenge her?
- 10:46 – 19:22
Dating apps, privacy battles, and users as ‘the product’
- TDTim Dillon
Bumble's CEO... If you- Well, someone found it. ... want to behave- I'm just looking it up. ... poorly, you cannot do it here. But where is that? On Bumble?
- NANarrator
I, I think-
- TDTim Dillon
But that's her app.
- JRJoe Rogan
That's who... So that's who said it, by the way.
- TDTim Dillon
But only, but, but this is a female created-
- JRJoe Rogan
Now that young Jamie is-
- TDTim Dillon
But, but hold on a second. This is a female created dating site.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
I think she has the right on her dating site to say, "Look, I've created this, this atmosphere where I want people to be pleasant on this atmosphere."
- JRJoe Rogan
Sure.
- TDTim Dillon
Because it's a female created dating site.
- JRJoe Rogan
Sure.
- TDTim Dillon
I don't want guys s- sending dick pics-
- JRJoe Rogan
Sure.
- TDTim Dillon
... unless I ask for them.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
You know, that kind of shit.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, that's fine, but does, does, does anyone... I'm just... On her app it's one thing.
- TDTim Dillon
Right.
- JRJoe Rogan
But no one who wants power and control goes, "I'm good with my part of the..."... yard. Most people go, "Yeah, I want, I think these standards should be enforced uniformly." That's my experience of, like, hearing a lot of these people talk. I think a lot of them are like, "Yeah, we should step in and curate a better world and create a better world," and they think they're doing the right thing. But there's a huge downside to it, which I don't know if they realize, because they just wanna, you know, they wanna get everyone's data, sell it, and make money. So, they don't want anything getting in the way of that.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah. That's, that's the real problem.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
The real problem is, the consumers have become the product and-
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
... they didn't know they were the product, and now the people that were selling them are making insane amounts of money. And, you know, one of the interesting things that's going on right now is this fight between Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and Tim Cook.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
Tim Cook at Apple. Tim Cook is like, "Hey, you know, just selling ads is good enough. You shouldn't be selling people's data. You shouldn't be, uh-
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
... infringing on people's privacy, and we're gonna put a stop to that." And so Facebook took out this, was it a full-page ad? Like what, what, they did, they did something where they published this piece where Mark Zuckerberg was essentially saying that you are going to punish small businesses, which is the weirdest... See, let's see what his argument against Tim Cook was, 'cause this was fairly recently.
- JRJoe Rogan
Zuckerberg came on-
- 19:22 – 26:17
Politics as spectacle: Austin identity, invasion fears, and Cuomo’s threats
- TDTim Dillon
Well, they're moving here because this is a very tech-friendly area.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
It's- it's a weird place because it's a blue spot in a red state. And, uh, it's- it's also a very artistic area.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
It's also very nice.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
Like one of the reasons why I moved here is the... It's a lower population than LA, and people are just genuinely friendlier.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
They're friendlier.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
I- I've always loved it here. I've been coming here since n- I think I did my first gig here in '99.
- JRJoe Rogan
I walked into a get my hair done and a woman's like, "Are you from California? You bringing your liberal politics here." I'm like, "Do I look like I'm bringing liberal poli- I look like Rush Limbaugh." Like, do I look like I'm bringing my liberal politics here?
- TDTim Dillon
Did she see your license plate? Is that what it was?
- JRJoe Rogan
I think so, yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
And she's like, "Where are you... You're..." Because I have a- a New York voice, so they're like-
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
... "Oh, you're not- you're not from here."
- TDTim Dillon
Right.
- JRJoe Rogan
And I'm like, "Yeah, I'm not bringing my liberal poli- I'm bringing, like, no politics."
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
I don't even... I guarantee whenever the elections are, I will miss them.
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
I won't know when they are and someone will call me in a week and go, "Did you vote?" And I'll go, "What?"
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
So that's... Whatever ally you want here, you don't get.
- TDTim Dillon
Well, I- I have a friend of mine who, uh, is out here. He's an older gentleman who I've become friends with since I moved here, and, uh, he's a- a gun enthusiast and a kind of an interesting character, but- but a very smart guy.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
And, uh, he just goes, "We're being invaded."
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, well, he's right.
- 26:17 – 40:59
NYC decline, de Blasio’s ‘culture will lead’ video, and name-change absurdity
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, this was also a guy that when New York was descending into a c- a crime infested hellscape, he said, "I'll... Uh, everybody come back, I'll cook for you."
- TDTim Dillon
"I'll cook for you."
- JRJoe Rogan
"I'll cook for you. I'll make you sauce. You want i-..."
- TDTim Dillon
"I'll make you a nice meatball."
- JRJoe Rogan
"I'll make you a potluck." There's people in New York right now beating each other with metal bats in the street-
- TDTim Dillon
I saw that video.
- JRJoe Rogan
... to death and de Blasio has people doing a dance routine, and Cuomo's telling people he'll make them Sunday sauce. It's a little-
- TDTim Dillon
How about that de Blasio video?
- JRJoe Rogan
... it's a little disturbing.
- TDTim Dillon
I sent you that, right?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, it's absurd.
- TDTim Dillon
How about... How-
- JRJoe Rogan
It's crazy. It's one of the craziest things I've ever seen.
- TDTim Dillon
That was one of the rare times I post on Twitter.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
Rare times I post on Twitter.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
I posted that and I said, "How the fuck is this a real thing?"
- JRJoe Rogan
How is this real?
- TDTim Dillon
How is this a real thing?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
It's literally a Cohen brother sketch.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- TDTim Dillon
It's a, it's a scene in The Big Lebowski.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
It's absurdist beyond belief.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
Please play that.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, he has a dance troop.
- TDTim Dillon
We're gonna bring back... Yeah. ... culture, we're gonna bring back-
- 40:59 – 47:01
Search engines, information filtering, and COVID narratives (DuckDuckGo, lab leak, hydroxychloroquine)
- JRJoe Rogan
By the way, as soon as someone wants to do evil, they Google how.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah. (laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
That's the first... (laughs) As soon as somebody wants it-
- TDTim Dillon
Teaching you use DuckDuckGo.
- JRJoe Rogan
"How do I get away with murdering my wife?" On Google.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah, see, if you wanna do that, use DuckDuckGo. It's way better and they don't-
- JRJoe Rogan
What is DuckDuckGo?
- TDTim Dillon
They don't save your history. It's a-
- JRJoe Rogan
Better search engine?
- TDTim Dillon
That's what I use.
- JRJoe Rogan
Interesting.
- TDTim Dillon
If, yeah, if I wanna l- look up anything sketchy. So here's the thing about-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
... DuckDuckGo too, it'll show you things that Google will hide from you.
- JRJoe Rogan
Wow.
- TDTim Dillon
Like, there was a doctor who died immediately after taking the vaccine and he was in his 50s.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- TDTim Dillon
Took the vaccine, he had an adverse reaction. Which, listen, it happens.
- JRJoe Rogan
Sure.
- TDTim Dillon
It is a part of medicine. It doesn't mean the vaccine's evil. It doesn't mean Bill Gates is trying to kill everyone. But if you do a-... search that on Google, it's really difficult to find.
- JRJoe Rogan
To find, yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
So I put in doctor, in his 50s, dies, vaccine, could not find it for the life of me. I used the exact same sentence, put it in DuckDuckGo, it was on the first page.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's not... Yeah, you can get it.
- TDTim Dillon
It was right away.
- JRJoe Rogan
Interesting.
- TDTim Dillon
Because they're not curating your search results.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, they also hid that- that Black West Indian doctor, that African doctor-
- TDTim Dillon
That lady, yes.
- JRJoe Rogan
... uh, God's Battle Axe & Weapon of War. They- they- (laughs) they got rid of her.
- TDTim Dillon
What is that one? (laughs)
- 47:01 – 49:58
Texas etiquette wars: Whataburger ‘line cutting’ and neighborhood rat culture
- JRJoe Rogan
I was reported-
- TDTim Dillon
I was on a serious road.
- JRJoe Rogan
I was reported for cutting line at a Whataburger. I've lived here for a week.
- TDTim Dillon
Well, that's- that's a criminal offense.
- JRJoe Rogan
Here's the reality.
- TDTim Dillon
This is Texas.
- JRJoe Rogan
I was... Whataburger was the only thing open. Is it-
- TDTim Dillon
Why did you cut the line?
- JRJoe Rogan
I didn't.
- TDTim Dillon
And why'd you cut the line with California plates?
- JRJoe Rogan
There's this new-
- TDTim Dillon
In a fucking Range Rover?
- JRJoe Rogan
There's this new game they're playing.
- TDTim Dillon
You were in a Range Rover?
- JRJoe Rogan
I was in a Range Rover with California plates.
- TDTim Dillon
That's everything wrong with-
- JRJoe Rogan
I know. And I had that stupid Bape hoodie on, that dumb- that, uh, hypebeast hoodie. But I- I turn and there's a dude in an F1. Because here's the deal, there were two lines converging on the Whataburger. I was in one line, but there was the other- the other line had like three or four cars. I didn't know that it was one and one. I didn't know that it was one car and then one car. I didn't know that.... I'm on, I'm not-
- TDTim Dillon
I don't know what you're saying.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, meaning when you have one line's coming in this way, and I'm coming in that way. S- We're supposed to let one line from my... One car from my line, and then one carfrom the other line.
- TDTim Dillon
What did you do?
- JRJoe Rogan
I... A- After my guy (laughs) went, I went as well, because I didn't know that that was a legitimate line, 'cause my line was much longer, and there was no reason that people couldn't just be on my line. They had started another shorter line and were weaving into-
- TDTim Dillon
Are you justifying cutting the line?
- JRJoe Rogan
I'm saying-
- TDTim Dillon
... in your Range Rover with California plates?
- JRJoe Rogan
... this is to get... He didn't support me with the Airbnb, so I should've washed the dishes.
- TDTim Dillon
I'm confused. I'm confused. Oh, there you are. Is this your car? If so, l- what's this guy's name? Put his, put his name up there.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's Neighbors Uncensored.
No, it's Neighbors Uncensored.
- TDTim Dillon
Neighbors Uncensored. Is this your car?
- JRJoe Rogan
What kind of rats are we dealing with please?
- 49:58 – 1:00:44
Airbnb cancellation and the Joshua Tree ‘desert lesbians’ feud
- JRJoe Rogan
If, if he f- fines me or whatever, I'll absolutely do it. But, it's like, I've had a real bad string of people... I was thrown off Airbnb. This is a fact. You did not support me on this.
- TDTim Dillon
I did.
- JRJoe Rogan
You did not. You said, "Uh, he should've done the dishes."
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
This was your quote.
- TDTim Dillon
Yeah, you should've done the dishes.
- JRJoe Rogan
Joe-
- TDTim Dillon
But you shouldn't have been thrown off of Airbnb.
- JRJoe Rogan
Okay. Well that's-
- TDTim Dillon
But you shouldn't leave dirty dishes.
- JRJoe Rogan
Joe, we pay a $450 cleaning fee.
- TDTim Dillon
Oh.
- JRJoe Rogan
Airbnb. A 450... They do this scam now. They call it COVID cleaning, which is f- th- fake, because regular cleaning and COVID cleaning are the same thing. Cleaning is cleaning. You're not going in there with hazmat suits.
- TDTim Dillon
Why did you leave the plates?
- JRJoe Rogan
What do you mean wh- I'm... What?
- TDTim Dillon
Why didn't you just clean the plates?
- JRJoe Rogan
Because this is a vacation.
- TDTim Dillon
Are you supposed to clean the plates?
- JRJoe Rogan
I don't know what the rules are, but I don't like the service if that's the case.
- TDTim Dillon
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
I won't-
- TDTim Dillon
You feel like you should be able to leave dirty plates.
- JRJoe Rogan
Not if I... If I pay $450 for a cleaning fee, you should... And, and the thing is, there were two lesbian women, and I mentioned that.
- TDTim Dillon
(gasps)
- JRJoe Rogan
And that's why I was kicked off Airbnb, because they thought-
- TDTim Dillon
'Cause you mentioned their, their sexual orientation.
- JRJoe Rogan
'Cause I, I, I mentioned that they were lesbian and th- they had a horribly designed house, and they should've maybe asked a gay guy or someone to fix it. But th-
- TDTim Dillon
Well, as a gay guy, what have you done? What would you have done, rather, to fix it?
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, all the furniture, well, you couldn't sit in. It was like art pieces.
- TDTim Dillon
Ah.
- 1:00:44 – 1:05:37
Alex Jones, alternative media legends, and Rush Limbaugh’s era of talk radio
- JRJoe Rogan
I gotta see him. I just got down here. I haven't seen him. I wanna go have dinner with him.
- TDTim Dillon
I'm very happy that people are changing their opinion about him.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
Slowly but surely. They're, they're understanding why I've been friends with this guy for 20 years.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
He's a fucking hugely entertaining person. He's definitely-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
... made some mistakes, but I love that guy. Jamie and I had dinner with him and Lex Fridman the other day. We ha- we had a gr... How, how fun was that?
- NANarrator
That was great. I mean, I had a private podcast that no one else gets to-
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- NANarrator
... listen to.
- TDTim Dillon
It was...
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- TDTim Dillon
We, we got a private room at Three Forks, which is a great steak place here.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, I've been there.
- TDTim Dillon
Fucking phenomenal steak place.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's great.
- TDTim Dillon
We sat down. We had so much fun. We had so much fun.
- JRJoe Rogan
