    1. JR

(drum roll) Joe Rogan podcast, check it out.

    2. IC

The Joe Rogan Experience. Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night. All day. (energetic music) (laughs)

    3. JR

      (laughs) Oh, no.

    4. IC

Like, man, that's what you was doing. You just wanted to go smoke weed with-

    5. JR

      (coughs)

    6. IC

... Joe and shit, yah. Coulda did that.

    7. JR

I couldn't keep up with Snoop.

    8. IC

      Oh, hell.

    9. JR

      Snoop just keeps going. (coughs)

    10. IC

Man, Snoop, he got a fucking professional bud roller. I think he paying 40 grand a year or some shit.

    11. JR

      Really?

    12. IC

(laughs) Now, I don't know how much, but-

    13. JR

      (coughs)

    14. IC

... I know it's a dude who, eight hours a day he just bringing, (laughs) he bringing Snoop like a hundred blunts in a bag. "Here you go, Snoop."

    15. JR

He's the one dude that's exempt anywhere he goes. No one's gonna fuck with Snoop with weed.

    16. IC

He smoked weed at the White House, so-

    17. JR

      (laughs)

    18. IC

... I mean, damn, you know?

    19. JR

      Did he really? (laughs)

    20. IC

Yeah, he said... (laughs) He went in the bathroom and got down. I said, "Oh, man." You know, I said, yeah, you know, he, he blaze anywhere, you know, church, swimming pools. He inside the pool blazing-

    21. JR

      Okay.

    22. IC

      ... under water.

    23. JR

He's got a card. You can just let him slide.

    24. IC

Yeah. Yeah. He's Snoop, you know, what you gonna say?

    25. JR

      What are you gonna say?

    26. IC

What you gonna say, man? Everybody loves Snoop.

    27. JR

The same thing with Chappelle. When we go to, out with Dave, Dave would just fire up in a restaurant. (laughs)

    28. IC

      Hey man, you know. (laughs)

    29. JR

      (laughs) Nobody says anything.

    30. IC

Gotta let 'em know you in the house.

  2. 15:0030:00

    Yeah. …

    1. JR

      get beat.

    2. IC

      Yeah.

    3. JR

And he's the most unhittable guy in the history of the sport.

    4. IC

      Yes, sir.

    5. JR

He's right up there with s- Pernell Whitaker. Like, those are the two guys that I say are like the most elusive guys-

    6. IC

      Yeah.

    7. JR

... in a, in modern, not, you know, past Willie Pep-

    8. IC

      Yeah.

    9. JR

... in modern era. Pernell Whitaker and Floyd.

    10. IC

      C-

    11. JR

Floyd's even more impressive 'cause he stands right in front of guys.

    12. IC

He stands right in front of you, and you can't hit him.

    13. JR

Just right in front of you.

    14. IC

And you can't get a good one on him.

    15. JR

(laughs) You can't get shit on him.

    16. IC

It's, it's, it's the amaze- It's th- one of the most amazing skillsets. He's like a, um, he's like a, you know, one of those, like, Minnesota Fats kind of pool players that know all the trick shots and-

    17. JR

      Yeah.

    18. IC

You can't beat him. You know, a guy that can, you know, uh, you know, play a hand or board game or, or, or ping pong or-

    19. JR

      Yeah.

    20. IC

You just, he just know ... You just can't beat him, and he just, he's that way in boxing.

    21. JR

      Yeah.

    22. IC

He just knows all the tricks of the trade, and he's just better.

    23. JR

Has way more information about where you should be for whe- where he can hit you and where he should be where you can't hit him. It's just, he's got it all in his head.

    24. IC

He knows what punch can be thrown-

    25. JR

      Yeah.

    26. IC

      ... and what time-

    27. JR

      Yeah.

    28. IC

... and what punch can't. And so, he just, when he knows you can't throw a punch, that's where he is.

    29. JR

      Yeah.

    30. IC

And when he knows you can, that's where he ain't.

  3. 30:0045:00

    I only had 20…

    1. JR

    2. IC

I only had 20 Gs, so... (laughs)

    3. JR

      (laughs)

    4. IC

If I'da had 40, I'da bought (laughs) , you know, probably a BMW, you know what I mean? A 3-Series or something. So, uh, you know, at the time, it was the first cool thing I was able to buy and, and not sweat it. You know what I mean?

    5. JR

      Mm-hmm.

    6. IC

Like, that's the key is the buy it and not sweat it.

    7. JR

      Right. Yeah.

    8. IC

You know, if you buying it and you sweating it still, you're like, "Damn." I remember, I remember (laughs) one day, I remember Dre and Yella-... they got checks. I think they got checks for, like, $35,000. (laughs) Next thing I seen them, they had, both had 'vettes, I think. Corvettes. And was like, "How much you pay?" "31." "How much you pay for yours?" "33."

    9. JR

      (laughs)

    10. IC

I'm like, "Y'all broke now." (laughs)

    11. JR

      (laughs)

    12. IC

So what? We look good. (laughs)

    13. JR

It's funny, but that's the temptation, you know?

    14. IC

Yeah. I mean, you know, you... Man, you, you... Like, you only live once and y- we know a lot of people that died young and so it's kinda like, get it while the getting is good.

    15. JR

Yeah. It's also, you're young. When you're young... When, when I first started making money, my manager thought I had a gambling problem.

    16. IC

      Yeah.

    17. JR

He called, he called me up and said, uh, "You... Are you having a gambling problem?" 'Cause he knew how much money I was burning through.

    18. IC

      Mm-hmm.

    19. JR

I go, "No, man. I'm eating lobster every night."

    20. IC

      Aah! (laughs)

    21. JR

(laughs) I'm like, "I grew up poor."

    22. IC

      Yeah.

    23. JR

I'm like, "I'm eating steak and lobster. I'm taking my friends out." I'm like, "I'm spending money."

    24. IC

Yeah. I mean, that's what you do, you know. And it feels good.

    25. JR

      Yeah, it feels good.

    26. IC

It feels good to finally be able to treat and, and, um, not, you know, worry about what it's gonna look like or... I mean-

    27. JR

That's the big thing, is the worry. I remember the first check I got. I got a check from Disney.

    28. IC

      Mm.

    29. JR

For a development deal from Disney in, like, 1993. And when I got the check, it was like weight lifted off my shoulders. It was like-

    30. IC

      Yes.

  4. 45:001:00:00

    Yeah. …

    1. IC

(exhales) it, it, you know, people, um, being bullied into doing things that they didn't wanna do. A lot of them didn't wanna do it. They, they did it because of their work or their-

    2. JR

      Yeah.

    3. IC

... you know, their, um, situations.

    4. JR

And a lot of them got wrecked.

    5. IC

Or, yeah, a lot of them are, are hurting right now, you know?

    6. JR

      Yeah.

    7. IC

I know, you know, I know, um, a guy that's, you know, been dealing with tinnitus since, since he got it. And so, (smacks lips) you know-

    8. JR

I know a lot of people-

    9. IC

      It's, it's just-

    10. JR

      ... who got fucked up.

    11. IC

      Yeah, yeah.

    12. JR

I know quite a few people that got fucked up, some of them pretty bad. It's just, it, it was just, uh, there was, uh, (sighs) if you wanted to do it at, in a textbook way, like if it was a conspiracy, that's how I would do it. I'd isolate people, make them stay at home, take away their livelihood, make them scared, give them small checks, you know, gi- and then give them this thing that you gotta take to get back to normal. "Wanna get back to normal?" "Yeah." "Go take that."

    13. IC

      (laughs)

    14. JR

"Don't worry. It's safe and effective, safe and effective, safe and effective." And then you have all this pressure, and everyone is yelling at you if you don't do it. "If you don't do it, we're not gonna get back to normal." And everybody got scared, and everybody just f- stepped in line, and it was strange. It's strange.

    15. IC

Yeah, it was. Um, you know, stepping in line sometimes is not the way to go.

    16. JR

No, it's not always the way to go.

    17. IC

It's just, you know, you're trying to prevent and trying to make things all smooth and easy and no issues and, and back to normal and all that, and the world might be back to normal, but are you-

    18. JR

      Right.

    19. IC

      ... normal?

    20. JR

Well, you gotta be able to make informed decisions.

    21. IC

      Yes.

    22. JR

And when you can't make an informed decision and you're being pressured anyway, it's like, what, what are you? How long? And it, this is the thing that was driving me crazy. Before the election, all, when Donald Trump was president, all they were talking about is, "I'm not gonna take the shot." You're gonna take a shot that Trump made? Who's gonna take that shot? Even Biden was saying it.

    23. IC

      Mm-hmm.

    24. JR

"Wh- who's gonna take it?" Kamala Harris was saying it. They were all saying it, "Don't take that. I would never take that." And then all of a sudden, Biden becomes president, and they're like, "You gotta take it." Like, is this the same thing?

    25. IC

      Wow.

    26. JR

      This is the same thing.

    27. IC

      (laughs)

    28. JR

You know how long it takes to develop a vaccine?

    29. IC

      Yeah.

    30. JR

      This is the same vaccine.

  5. 1:00:001:15:00

    That, that, you know,…

    1. IC

That, that, you know, I'm talking about what happened to me, but it obviously happens everywhere to all of us. You know what I mean?

    2. JR

      Mm-hmm.

    3. IC

And, and we gotta somehow, someway, get these people out of our way. Or, um, not support what they're doing and producing. Um, you know, some of these mainstream outlets are really just an extension of these corporate conglomerates who-... wanna, you know, kinda control our emotions, control our movement, control our spending, control our personalities, control our mind. Um, and, you know, what we gonna do about it, like, at the end of the day? You know what I'm saying? Like, we gonna just sit here and let it happen day after day till we're steamrolled and, and, and, um, wore out and have no fight in us? Or are we gonna stand up where we can, you know what I mean? And push back when we can. I know everybody can't in all situations, and don't feel bad when you can't. But when you can and you know you can, do it.

    4. JR

      Yes.

    5. IC

Do it. Like, when you have the leverage, take it.

    6. JR

      Yeah.

    7. IC

You know? Take it. Like, like, you ever see, when you got the leverage, you gotta go.

    8. JR

      Yeah.

    9. IC

      Use that-

    10. JR

      Yeah.

    11. IC

... to your advantage. You might not always have the leverage. You might not always have, you know, the right, uh, timing. But, when you do, when you can, we, we gotta, we gotta buck- buck back, you know. Um, if not, we just gonna continue to get steamrolled and not be heard and canceled and all this kinda stupid stuff.

    12. JR

Yeah, and we're just repeating patterns that have played out throughout history.

    13. IC

      Yes.

    14. JR

When people get power, they wanna have ultimate power. They want more power. The, any obstructions they see to their goals, any things that people were doing that would get in the way, they wanna silence that, stop that. They wanna bust unions. They wanna do whatever the fuck they can to consolidate their power.

    15. IC

Yeah. And it's, uh, at a certain point, it's just ridiculous.

    16. JR

      Yeah.

    17. IC

      And, um-

    18. JR

Well, it's not good for us.

    19. IC

These are some of the most unhappy people in the world who is just concerned with more and more power and they're powerful. You know, when have you saw a guy who was maxing out, you know, bench pressing or whatever and blew out his shoulder like-

    20. JR

      Lunch times.

    21. IC

(laughs) It's like, it's like, you was maxed out the last time you maxed out. Why are you trying to max out even more and more and more and more and then you blow out your shoulder? You see what I'm saying? So, at a certain point, you gotta know when you got enough of this and enough of that. (clears throat)

    22. JR

I think the money people, though, they never think that way because it's all about numbers. Like, the whole thing is numbers. It's not like, "Look, I put out a new album. Look, I put out a new movie. I'm, I'm creating a thing. I'm putting together stuff." For them, it's always numbers.

    23. IC

      It's all numbers.

    24. JR

It's just numbers. And so you never feel satisfied. And there's always a guy with a bigger jet, there's always a guy with a bigger house, there's always a guy with more of this and more of that. And... Yeah.

    25. IC

Yeah. And usually, you know, you can find happier people with way, way, way less.

    26. JR

      Way, way less. (laughs) Yes.

    27. IC

      Way less.

    28. JR

Yeah, if your goal is happy, that is not the occupation you should be in. That's not-

    29. IC

      No.

    30. JR

      Yeah. Those people are miserable.

  6. 1:15:001:21:00

    No. …

    1. JR

    2. IC

      No.

    3. JR

... and saying you should call them minor-attracted persons.

    4. IC

      Man, come on.

    5. JR

      It's insane. I mean, you're getting-

    6. IC

      Yeah.

    7. JR

... academics that are saying this.

    8. IC

      It does-

    9. JR

      It's insane.

    10. IC

Yeah, it is. It's, you know, it's, it's, it's borderline madness and so I'm, we're almost there.

    11. JR

Yeah. Well, it's the end of an empire.

    12. IC

      Yes.

    13. JR

And, you know, there's this guy, Douglas Murray, he's this English, uh, British intellectual, and he said that every time, uh, a civilization is close to collapsing, they become obsessed with gender. It happened with the ancient Greeks, with the Romans. It's just like-

    14. IC

      Mm-hmm.

    15. JR

... some weird thing that happens when everything is just going too good and life is too easy. People get obsessed with, eh, eh, the, the weirdest things. And now we're obsessed with gender.

    16. IC

      Wow.

    17. JR

It's the beginning of the end.

    18. IC

      Stay tuned.

    19. JR

Yeah, who knows? I mean, maybe we'll bounce back, you know? Get a good president in there, you know, turn it around.

    20. IC

      Yeah.

    21. JR

      (laughs)

    22. IC

      (laughs)

    23. JR

      You don't think so?

    24. IC

      I don't, I don't put a lot on the president. (laughs)

    25. JR

      Not this one.

    26. IC

I don't put a lot on the president, for sure.

    27. JR

Well, I wonder what would happen if Robert Kennedy Jr. Got in there. I'm very interested to see what happens with that guy.

    28. IC

Yeah. You know, he's, uh ... You know, he's, he seemed like a guy who at least is down to deep dive.

    29. JR

      Yeah.

    30. IC

And talk real, and, and, you know, really try to dissect what's really going on instead of just going with the herd. Um, which would be easy for him to do, like go with the-
