When I, back when I was, w- when I, when I was still involved with the s- with the sandwich shop, one of the things I learned that I never knew, 'cause you had to take a test to get a food handler's license and all this shit, was, um, I didn't know that food started breaking down the moment you cut it. I didn't know that.

Here's the question, though. Do you think that there's value in not having that when you're young, and then developing that sort of drive and ambition and desire to earn money and get something, because you know what it's like to be poor?

Or do you think the world would be a far better place if instead of people having to concentrate on necessities like food and shelter, society reaches a point where that is a given-

And now it's all about, what do you wanna pursue and how much energy you put into it? Or do you think that you have to have that struggle?

I think... Look, I, I don't think that that struggle and the transition out of that struggle is ever bad for anybody. I think it's a, I think it's a, it, it builds your spirit and it builds your, who you are. That said, I, the other version of it, I, I don't know because it's just not a thing that w- we have here. It's not a thing that people have ever experienced here, and I don't even know if they really experience it anywhere else. I mean, I think there's, like, forms of socialism, but they all involve oppression. There's... They all involve government overreach. They all... Any, any real socialist system always involves, like, serious restrictions on what you can and can't do.

I will tell you this, and this might be a by-product of the culture we live in, 'cause we don't have it. I will say, I, there is a noticeable difference to me between people I am friendly with that grew up with money and people that I, that I know that grew up that didn't have it.

There's th- this is the question that I have. Like, is it necessary that that has to be your struggle in order to develop the kind of discipline that you need to be successful in life? Like, you're enforcing the idea of greed, because people become selfish because no one was looking out for them, and they d- have a chip on their shoulder, all that shit.

I just did an, a workout, a hypoxia workout, and, uh, so it's at, I have a box in my studio that goes to, it takes all the air out, so it puts you at the equivalent of 15,000 feet, uh, above sea level. And w- you do this interval training. So you do sprints on the AirDyne machine. You get off of that, and you do these kettlebell cleans and presses or swings, and you get off of that, and then you do the sled, and you push the sled, or you do backwards on the sled, and it's got varying resistance.

And you do 'em in these 50-second, 40-second, and then 30-second sprints. So, like, everything else is easy. [laughs]

If I don't exercise regularly, I have more anxiety, I don't feel comfortable, I don't feel good, I'm more irritable. I don't like it. I don't like that feeling. When I am, like, when I work out really hard and I do the things that I'm supposed to do, I feel great. I feel friendly, I'm feel happy, I feel light, I feel like life is easy.
