Fight Companion kickoff + Jimmy Smith officially joins the UFC commentary team
- JRJoe Rogan
We're f- we're live, guys.
- EBEddie Bravo
Oh, is it live?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- EBEddie Bravo
Okay.
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh ƒ-
- JRJoe Rogan
Boom. And we're live, ladies and gentlemen.
- JSJimmy Smith
He wanted a picture quick.
- JRJoe Rogan
We're here with the great and powerful-
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
... Jimmy Smith. Welcome to the UFC, Jimmy Smith.
- EBEddie Bravo
Thank you so much.
- JRJoe Rogan
Official.
- JSJimmy Smith
Great to be here, officially.
- JRJoe Rogan
Official. We, we wanted to talk about it last time-
- JSJimmy Smith
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
... when you were on the podcast, but we, we had to dance around it. (laughs)
- JSJimmy Smith
You and ... it's ... so many people-
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- JSJimmy Smith
... wrote me were like, "Joe really ... " I go, "Hey, man. Joe's a pro, and he, uh ... " You hinted well.
- JRJoe Rogan
We had to d-
- JSJimmy Smith
We danced around it-
- JRJoe Rogan
We had to dance.
- JSJimmy Smith
... quite a bit.
- JRJoe Rogan
Nobody, nobody totally knew. And, of course, the great and powerful Eddie Bravo.
- EBEddie Bravo
Yo, yo, yo.
- JRJoe Rogan
Brian Callens on the way, but he's bringing wine and cheese. He insists on wine and cheese. He thinks he's at some fucking, fucking cocktail party where they're gonna compare scripts. That's Brian. He's gotta have his wine and cheese. Uh, Duho Cioi versus, uh, Jeremy Stephens is the main event. If you've never heard of one of these podcasts before, this is a fight companion podcast, which means we're gonna watch the fights. Most likely we'll talk about the fights, but we might not. We could talk about whatever the fuck. Like, Eddie and I, we've gone through entire podcasts we never talked about the fight until, like-
- 1:03 – 2:41
Commission rules, weight cuts, and missing fights on the card
- JSJimmy Smith
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
... the last round of the main event. But Missouri, Missouri Division of Prof ... Oh, they're in Missouri. Is this St. Louis? That's what it is, right?
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah, th- and they haven't adopted the ABC rules. That's important.
- JRJoe Rogan
Hmm.
- JSJimmy Smith
For the judging at least, for sure.
- JRJoe Rogan
They haven't, they haven't adopted those in Nevada, which is real weird, man.
- JSJimmy Smith
It's crazy.
- JRJoe Rogan
Look how good Michael Johnson looks at 45. Eddie was saying that it's racist to say that, but I don't think it is. Look how shredded he is.
- JSJimmy Smith
Fantastic.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, it's a good weight class for him.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
I think, uh, you know, just those ... Khabib Nurmagomedov's those giant 55s that could just grapple fuck you and beat your brains in. He had enough of that after that fight.
- JSJimmy Smith
Monstrous. Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
He's like, "That's, that's about enough of this weight class."
- JSJimmy Smith
When people remember how much the other guy talked-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
... to Dana White while he was beating my ass, that's, that's bad.
- JRJoe Rogan
Whew. Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
That's bad. And he's a great fighter. And that's what's-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
... so funny about it is.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, this was supposed-
- JSJimmy Smith
That's how good he can be.
- JRJoe Rogan
... to be the main event on the prelims, but Uriah Hall and Vitor Belfort fell out, really unfortunately, which is a fucking bummer. Apparently Uriah Hall was, like, on death's door trying to make weight. But he had, like, gotten sick, I'd heard, during training. He was having some real issues. He said his body shut down about three weeks out. A lot of people out here dealing with that fucking flu.
- JSJimmy Smith
And then Robert Foell's coach died.
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
Who was a great guy, by the way, if you ever-
- EBEddie Bravo
That's-
- JSJimmy Smith
... met Robert.
- EBEddie Bravo
... such a bummer.
- 2:41 – 4:26
Eddie Bravo’s lifestyle changes: quitting alcohol/caffeine + intermittent fasting
- JRJoe Rogan
Um, so instead, this fight, which was gonna be on the prelims, I'm excited about this fight though, 'cause Darren Elkins is some sort of a different kind of human. That guy takes fucking punishment like nobody. E- Eddie Bravo looking for marijuana?
- EBEddie Bravo
No.
- JRJoe Rogan
We have plenty of that.
- EBEddie Bravo
No.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's okay. We don't-
- EBEddie Bravo
No, dude.
- JSJimmy Smith
(laughs) We, we can ... This, this is a free world. We live in California.
- EBEddie Bravo
I, I don't drink anymore.
- JRJoe Rogan
It is.
- EBEddie Bravo
And-
- JSJimmy Smith
At all?
- EBEddie Bravo
Nope.
- JSJimmy Smith
That's it?
- EBEddie Bravo
No more drinking.
- JSJimmy Smith
Wow.
- JRJoe Rogan
Uh-huh.
- EBEddie Bravo
No more caffeine. I'm on intermittent fasting. (bell rings) Um ...
- JSJimmy Smith
Da- you look good, dude. Your face-
- EBEddie Bravo
Thank you.
- JSJimmy Smith
... looks good.
- EBEddie Bravo
Thank you.
- JSJimmy Smith
You look slim.
- EBEddie Bravo
But, but I'm not giving this away.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah, don't give that away.
- EBEddie Bravo
I mean, uh, giving it up. Sorry.
- JSJimmy Smith
Giving it up. Don't, don't give it up, don't give it away. So, uh, how long has it been since the booze?
- EBEddie Bravo
(inhales) (sighs) I, I decided initially that I would only allow myself to drink, like, if I did a set somewhere or if I did, um, you know, at, at my, at the 10 Planet Holiday Party I allowed myself to drink. But that was the last time. It's been about a month and a half-
- JRJoe Rogan
Hmm.
- EBEddie Bravo
... since I've had a drink.
- JRJoe Rogan
Interesting. How do you feel?
- 4:26 – 9:12
Heavyweight hype: Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou and what makes Ngannou unique
- JRJoe Rogan
Spea- speaking of hit in the head, the world title, Stipe and Francis, they're showing the preview for it right now. Good fucking-
- JSJimmy Smith
That's gonna be fantastic.
- JRJoe Rogan
... googly moogly. I've never been more excited for a heavyweight title fight ever.
- EBEddie Bravo
(exhales) Dude's a freak.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, he's the freakiest of the freakiest.
- JSJimmy Smith
Unbelievable.
- JRJoe Rogan
He's a one-in-a-million athlete. Like, if you think there's 320 million people in this country, how many Ngannous are there? If there's 300, I'd be fucking stunned. I don't even think he's ... I think it's more than one in a million. Like, a guy who's built like that? 6'4".
- JSJimmy Smith
Don't you think there's ... He's been training three years or something?
- EBEddie Bravo
There's probably a-
- JRJoe Rogan
Five.
- EBEddie Bravo
... whole shitload of Africa-
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, it's five years. Five years, totally.
- JRJoe Rogan
Was homeless five years ago.
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
That's crazy.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, crazy. Dude worked in a sand mine as a kid, like a goddamn character in a Robert E. Howard comic book. Like, digging sand as a kid.
- JSJimmy Smith
Robert E. Howard, that's all ... He wrote Conan, by the way-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
... guys.
- JRJoe Rogan
Digging-
- JSJimmy Smith
If you're not a comic book dork.
- EBEddie Bravo
Ooh.
- JRJoe Rogan
Just growing in ... with this anger, this strength.
- JSJimmy Smith
Pushing that thing. Schwarzenegger pushing the, the wheel.
- JRJoe Rogan
The log.
- JSJimmy Smith
The wheel forever, the grinder.
- JRJoe Rogan
I mean, what better workout is there for a young guy who wants to beat the fuck out of people than digging sand all day?
- EBEddie Bravo
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Just carrying sand all back and legs and arms. I mean, think about how much strength is required to just fucking dig sand all the time.
- 9:12 – 13:20
Fight sync + Michael Johnson at 145 vs Darren Elkins: early striking and pace
- JRJoe Rogan
So here we go, 452, 51, 450, 449 are the first rounds we're trying to sync it up. Michael Johnson and Darren Elkins. And Darren Elkins, here, here's a g- guy who made a big move when he went to Alpha Male. Ma, it's, it made a huge impact on him. He looks way more polished, way, way smoother the way he moves. You really saw that in the Bersa, Me, uh, Mersaude Bektić fight. That was a crazy fight because that was a fight where he was way underdog, like, uh, by a big margin for a good reason. Oh, man.
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, he's hurt already.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, he's getting hurt. Yeah, he's getting tagged. Let's see if Michael Johnson, um, goes after him or if he stays patient.
- JSJimmy Smith
I always think, whenever I see a guy at 35, 45 from Alpha Male, I always think-
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh.
- JSJimmy Smith
... when they call them and go, "Well, we need a guy at 45." For you to get that call, you gotta be beastly, 'cause they have a lot of those guys.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
I mean, that's their whole team.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, oh, Michael Johnson just tagged him with the left.
- JSJimmy Smith
Hurt him again.
- JRJoe Rogan
He's fast, man. At 45, very fast. And goes-
- JSJimmy Smith
And he's rangy, he's getting good extension on his punches.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, yeah, and at 45 is gonna be enjoying that even more. Uh, good, good height reach of that. He just looks perfectly built for the weight class.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah. And he has the speed. A lot of people don't realize when you drop a weight class, those guys are a hell of a lot faster.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
And he has the speed to keep up with those guys. A lot of them don't.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. And I think he's probably gonna be even faster at 45.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh.
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, (sighs) he dangled with that left hand.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, he's hurt.
- JSJimmy Smith
That leg went out on him.
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh. This is a good fight already. Oh, he tagged him again.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah, Elkins hasn't really figured it out. He's waiting on him.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, he's just, uh, a step slower-
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
... for sure, and just not, not nearly as smooth a striker. Elkins relies on his ability to take tremendous punishment in his heart and his endurance where he just never stops at this pace. And if you start to slip... Ooh, sweet left hand. Ooh.
- JSJimmy Smith
Problem is, that's a tough thing to rely on in this business the way MMA is now. "Oh, I'm a tough guy." Well, welcome to the club.
- JRJoe Rogan
(sucks teeth) Yeah, there's like 500 tough guys in the UFC.
- JSJimmy Smith
It's tough.
- 13:20 – 17:04
Scoring and judging debate: 10-8 rounds, ABC rules, and Rogan’s proposed overhaul
- JSJimmy Smith
Now, now, once again, this is one of those maybe ABC, it's 10-8.
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- JSJimmy Smith
Non-ABC, it would probably go 10-9-
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- JSJimmy Smith
... if they haven't adopted the new rules.
- JRJoe Rogan
Do you think that would be 10-8 though? I mean-
- JSJimmy Smith
No, but he could be. I'm saying it, I'm not saying it is.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- JSJimmy Smith
I'm saying with the new rules that they're just a lot more common.
- JRJoe Rogan
Man, I-
- JSJimmy Smith
If you, I- I- it's, I think the actual rule, and please, someone out there correct me if I'm wrong, uh, if someone clearly, if, if they win two aspects of the fight...
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh, he just hit him with another left hand.
- JSJimmy Smith
And he's certainly landing the significant strikes.
- JRJoe Rogan
But it's-
- JSJimmy Smith
And he's the aggressor.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
So, you could...
- JRJoe Rogan
He certainly has a clear advantage.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
And I would like to see rounds like that, but Jimmy, I think we need a better score system.
- JSJimmy Smith
It's tough.
- JRJoe Rogan
I think t- the 10-point system from boxing is goofy. I just don't think we need it. I think we need like a 100-point score system that takes into account submission attempts, takedown attempts, defense. Takes that into account leg kicks, knees, elbows, punches. All those things quantified. The, uh, the impact of those techniques, how hard they're hitting, how close the choke is, how close the arm bar is, how good the defense is, you know? Like all those things should be taken into consideration. And I, I think we should have more than three judges. I think having three judges is fucking foolishness. Why three people? I think you, there, you have way more of a likelihood of having some bullshit decision if there's only three people. I think if you have 20 experts, like, or people online... A little cheese? A little cheese?
- BCBryan Callen
A little cheese, buddy.
- JRJoe Rogan
A little cheese, buddy?
- BCBryan Callen
Okay, keep talking. I'm listening.
- JRJoe Rogan
20 experts maybe, you know?
- JSJimmy Smith
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Maybe even open it up-
- JSJimmy Smith
Sure.
- JRJoe Rogan
... to people online, like have-
- 17:04 – 23:56
Elkins’ comeback submission shocker + detailed rear-naked choke mechanics
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh, crucifix. Crucifix.
- JSJimmy Smith
It sucked.
- JRJoe Rogan
Look at this. Mounted crucifix for Elkins and, oh... Look at this. Elkins gets to the back. Three minutes to go. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Imagine if Elkins spoils the big 145-pound party for Michael Johnson.
- JSJimmy Smith
Would not be the first time.
- JRJoe Rogan
It would not be the first time.
- JSJimmy Smith
Nope.
- JRJoe Rogan
You can't fucking sleep on this guy, he's such an animal.
- EBEddie Bravo
He has a better body though.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh!
- BCBryan Callen
Oh, damn it.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, shit!
- JSJimmy Smith
That might happen.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, he's under the chin!
- BCBryan Callen
How'd that happen?
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, shit!
- JSJimmy Smith
Glass over, glass over.
- JRJoe Rogan
He's gonna go to sleep.
- JSJimmy Smith
It's over.
- JRJoe Rogan
He tapped! Oh!
- JSJimmy Smith
Damn!
- BCBryan Callen
Wow.
- JSJimmy Smith
Damn.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, Darren Elkins is a fucking savage! Goddamn, that dude's a savage!
- JSJimmy Smith
Took the punches and came back, man.
- JRJoe Rogan
Holy shit! Holy shit!
- BCBryan Callen
Ugh.
- JRJoe Rogan
Darren Elkins is a-
- JSJimmy Smith
Man.
- JRJoe Rogan
... fucking savage. Whoo!
- JSJimmy Smith
He got teed off on in the first round.
- 23:56 – 28:39
EBI overtime, Combat Jiu-Jitsu, and why pure grappling habits can fail in MMA
- EBEddie Bravo
Because VBI overtime, where we start guys on their back and-
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- EBEddie Bravo
... in our shootout overtime rounds, the game has grown so much just from getting good at those rounds.
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- EBEddie Bravo
Just spending a lot of time at dissecting the offense-
- JRJoe Rogan
Spiderweb.
- EBEddie Bravo
... and the arm bar position and the rear naked choke. The essence of jujitsu-
- JRJoe Rogan
Have you ever, have you considered any other positions that you would allow people-
- EBEddie Bravo
No.
- JRJoe Rogan
... to do other than those two?
- EBEddie Bravo
No.
- JRJoe Rogan
Those two are good enough?
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah. There have been people who- that will suggest, "Why don't you get, have-"
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- EBEddie Bravo
"... uh, uh, mount one," or whatever.
- JRJoe Rogan
No.
- EBEddie Bravo
Just nice and super crazy basic, something that everyone could agree on. If you're gonna have a shootout in jujitsu, it's gotta be rear naked choke or arm bar.
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- EBEddie Bravo
That's it.
- JRJoe Rogan
You know.... you know?
- JSJimmy Smith
In other words, you start-
- EBEddie Bravo
We can't start people-
- JSJimmy Smith
... there? You start there? Wh- whether it's by-
- JRJoe Rogan
You know, it starts-
- EBEddie Bravo
You start with the back and over time.
- JRJoe Rogan
And over time-
- JSJimmy Smith
So- so- so-
- JRJoe Rogan
... you start from sp- do you know what spiderweb is? Like, you get a guy in side control-
- EBEddie Bravo
An armbar position.
- JRJoe Rogan
... and you, you hook one of the arms and he's defending-
- 28:39 – 30:26
Leg-lock evolution, Danaher Death Squad, and submission safety/etiquette (Toquinho debate)
- EBEddie Bravo
They're risky. But the, the state of the leg lock game these days-
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- EBEddie Bravo
... is way different than those guys that were trying to pull off leg locks back then.
- JSJimmy Smith
So much faster, yeah.
- EBEddie Bravo
Even Raminasato, even that level, he was considered one of the best leg lockers back then. But the level today in leg locks is way beyond that.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- EBEddie Bravo
It's, it's way beyond that. What, what, what the guys at, at, uh, DDS have done, I mean, they've taken the leg lock game, I mean, it's, it's beyond Sambo-
- JRJoe Rogan
DDS being?
- EBEddie Bravo
... it's beyond catch wrestling.
- JRJoe Rogan
Danaher Death Squad.
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, those guys. Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Danaher Dea- John Danaher.
- EBEddie Bravo
He'll be here-
- JRJoe Rogan
Danaher.
- EBEddie Bravo
John will be here tomorrow at 8:00 AM.
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, he will?
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah, we're doing a podcast early morning podcast.
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, man.
- EBEddie Bravo
Did you, did you... Have you... I was talking to Chael about the last Abu Dhabi and he told me a story. I was laughing my ass off. He said they did the rules meeting and they said, "Well, we want for everybody so no controversies, we want three distinct taps." And everybody goes, "I need to walk out of here." You know, like what we're talking about.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- EBEddie Bravo
You don't have time to do this anymore.
- JRJoe Rogan
For the heel hook. Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
You're done. You don't have time to be... Even, even three of these, you're, you know- Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
Shit's ripped.
- EBEddie Bravo
... you're risking an ACL tear. Because everybody looked at each other like, "We- we're all agreeing to not do that." Like all the people were like-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- EBEddie Bravo
... "Okay, if I tap, let me go, dude."
- JRJoe Rogan
Jesus Christ.
- JSJimmy Smith
Right.
- 30:26 – 32:05
Emotional interlude: Matt Hughes recovery and his legacy in MMA
- JSJimmy Smith
Oh, look at Matt. Oh.
- EBEddie Bravo
Wow, Matt Hughes.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's not as common as you think.
- EBEddie Bravo
He can barely walk. Oh, my God.
- JRJoe Rogan
Holy shit.
- JSJimmy Smith
No.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, you know though, it's good to see him out of the wheelchair.
- EBEddie Bravo
It is, dude.
- JRJoe Rogan
Apparently he's recovering. I, I don't...
- JSJimmy Smith
(sighs)
- JRJoe Rogan
He got hit by a train, man, which is crazy. I mean most people would be dead.
- JSJimmy Smith
Makes me want to cry.
- EBEddie Bravo
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Fuck.
- BCBryan Callen
Fuck.
- JSJimmy Smith
Wow. Dude, it's- it's just- it's great that he's alive.
- BCBryan Callen
You know the last thing- last thing he said to me-
- JSJimmy Smith
I'm looking at, uh, looking at him going, "Fuck."
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- JSJimmy Smith
Look at him walking.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BCBryan Callen
That's the way it looked.
- JSJimmy Smith
Think he's gonna come back.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, that's the way it looked.
- BCBryan Callen
We shot a- we shot Warrior together and the last thing he said to me, we had a scene together and- and, uh, it was... This was a week later. He got hit. He said, um... He goes, "I hope I can put my shoes on when I'm older." Fucking makes me wanna...
- JRJoe Rogan
(sighs)
- BCBryan Callen
Oh.
- JSJimmy Smith
Yeah, man. A lot of guys-
- BCBryan Callen
It makes me so emotional. It sucks.
- JRJoe Rogan
Look at him going.
- 32:05 – 1:16:09
Kamaru Usman vs Emil Meek: wrestling dominance, guillotine threats, and standup vulnerabilities
- JRJoe Rogan
All right. So we're gonna go to Kamaru Usman and, uh, Emir Mekh. I love this fight.
- BCBryan Callen
Me too.
- JSJimmy Smith
That's good.
- JRJoe Rogan
Nobody wants to fight Usman. Nobody.
- BCBryan Callen
He's a beast.
- JRJoe Rogan
Everybody's running from that dude. That guy is a smashing machine. I mean, he is a fucking tank of a human being. But this Emir Mekh guy, talk about, um, leg locks. He got his way into the UFC by knocking out Toquinho. He, uh, he smashed him in some other organization, I think. Yeah.
- BCBryan Callen
Wait, isn't he fighting the Valhalla guy?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, that's Emir Mekh.
- BCBryan Callen
Oh, okay.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. Emir Mekh is, uh, the- the crazy Viking guy.
- BCBryan Callen
(clears throat) He's a stud. (laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
He's a fucking animal. Animal.
- JSJimmy Smith
(laughs)
- BCBryan Callen
He's so shredded, it's stupid.
- JRJoe Rogan
But Kamaru Usman, top of the food chain wrestlers. Super athlete. Just a tank of a man who everybody's running from, just running from.
- JSJimmy Smith
Mm-hmm.
- JRJoe Rogan
Nobody wants a piece of him. When you talk about, like, top 10 guys, he's the guy that nobody's mentioning.
- JSJimmy Smith
There's- there's a special thing, I think, in MMA and combat sports, period, is there are guys who are great and then there are guys who are s- frightening.
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- JSJimmy Smith
Where- where nobody... And- and- and another good example is Toquinho, Polularas.
- BCBryan Callen
Yeah. Right.
- JSJimmy Smith
Even when he was a fringe top 10 guy or, you know, eight or... People were like, "I don't want anything to do with that dude."
- BCBryan Callen
(laughs)
- JSJimmy Smith
"I don't wanna be anywhere near-"
- JRJoe Rogan
Just too powerful of a fighter.
- JSJimmy Smith
Like, "I'd rather have a- I'd rather have a GSP who's better, but won't hurt me, like, Toquinho will rip your leg in half and just have no idea what he's doing."
- JRJoe Rogan
Man, I feel like, uh-
- JSJimmy Smith
He's scary, dude.
- JRJoe Rogan
... I- I think he did some bad things in the UFC. He definitely held onto submissions-
- JSJimmy Smith
Really bad.
