Fight-week hype and the science of weight cutting (Embedded, Lockhart, 171 lbs)
- JRJoe Rogan
(sniffs) Four, three, two, one. And we're live! This is a bummer of a fight week, but also an awesome fight week.
- BSBrendan Schaub
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
Like, I'm very excited. Did you see the- the latest Countdown? What is it, uh, All Access? What do they call it? No.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Embedded?
- JRJoe Rogan
Embedded, yeah. I'm always trying to come up with the name of those things.
- BSBrendan Schaub
There's always some- they're all the same, but-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... All Access, Embedded, 24/7.
- JRJoe Rogan
Embedded is very good. I should- I should remember the name. It's very good.
- BSBrendan Schaub
They're all, yeah, they're all good.
- JRJoe Rogan
And this- this new one is really good 'cause it's got Max Holloway running on a treadmill two treadmills over from Nurmagomedov, who's also running on a treadmill. And they're fucking very cool to each other.
- BSBrendan Schaub
They're cool.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's very interesting.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Khabib thanked him for taking the fight-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... which he should-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... which he should. Thanks for taking the fight. And then, they have the same, uh, weight coach.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Like cutting, yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
That's crazy. Lockhart, right?
- BSBrendan Schaub
It- it's, yeah, it's Lockhart.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, it's Lockhart.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, that's right.
- JRJoe Rogan
Lockhart is go- did- is Lockhart working with Nurmagomedov as well?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yes, both of them.
- JRJoe Rogan
So, Lockhart was g- like, Lockhart is legit. Like, he goes over calculations of like, how much you weigh, how much water you're gonna take, and he's weighing things out. It took him an hour and a half to do the calculations.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
It wasn't like, "Hey, we're gonna wing this." It's like, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're gonna do this weight cut correctly," and he's got it down to the day. You know, like, it's six days to lose, I think he was 171.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Is that- is that- is that- I was wondering what did- what did he start at? Is it 171?
- 1:26 – 10:18
Max Holloway taking Khabib on six days’ notice: respect, risks, and matchup problems
- BSBrendan Schaub
What's crazy is, when Max was on my show, I was talking to him a little bit off air, and this is on record. I'm not spilling anything that he didn't say. But he just goes, "You know, I've, with the injury-"
- JRJoe Rogan
There we go, right there.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Jesus Christ.
- JRJoe Rogan
Embedded. Embedded, I think, is better than that UFC, uh, not UFC, the HBO ones. I think it's better than all of them.
- BSBrendan Schaub
The 24/7?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
How dare you.
- JRJoe Rogan
I- I think it's better than all of them.
- BSBrendan Schaub
The 24/7, when there's a big fight?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I think- I think, because this is RAW.
- JRJoe Rogan
You know why? Because this is RAW. This-
- BSBrendan Schaub
I think, well, I think in general, they're better-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... 'cause they do more of it.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yup.
- BSBrendan Schaub
But a 24/7?
- JRJoe Rogan
They're very good.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Like, they're- they're fucking good.
- JRJoe Rogan
They're very good. But with-
- BSBrendan Schaub
With Liev Schreiber?
- JRJoe Rogan
Oh, it's, I love that guy.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Bro, watch your words, son.
- JRJoe Rogan
I love that guy. I love that guy.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
But I like these better, because these are-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Remember when they had the "alley cat" Liev Schreiber?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He's like, (imitates Liev Schreiber) "Tonight, here we go."
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- 10:18 – 14:33
How far does Khabib’s dominance go? Grappling myths, welterweight dreams, and the Woodley problem
- BSBrendan Schaub
I wanna see him against Woodley at 70.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I think 70's his natural weight class.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. I think he'd probably be a lot healthier. Imagine that.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Imagine Woodley-
- JRJoe Rogan
Imagine being stronger and healthier.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... and him f- Woodley and Khabib?
- JRJoe Rogan
Jesus.
- BSBrendan Schaub
What?
- JRJoe Rogan
But Woodley's a different thing, man. You, you miss, you, you fuck up and you, you leave yourself in a position to get hit with one of those nuclear bombs.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Oh, he'll knock you out.
- JRJoe Rogan
Woodley could put people to sleep. And he can grapple his ass off.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Like, he can grapple his ass off.
- JRJoe Rogan
Grapple his ass off, hard to take down, and puts people to sleep with one shot. I don't think Woodley gets his due, and I think the best evidence is the, the two fights that people point to where they sa- say that, like, Woodley should have done better. Those are the Thompson fights. He, he-
- BSBrendan Schaub
And the Maya fight.
- JRJoe Rogan
The Maya fight, but Maya never got hurt. Like, he hur- he hit Maya a bunch of times, but it was uneventful 'cause he was hurt... Woodley was hurt early in the first round with his shoulder. He fucked his shoulder up, like, when he first-
- BSBrendan Schaub
But also, if he fought Maya, though, he should fight Maya if you don't wanna go to the ground.
- JRJoe Rogan
100%, but my point is, in those two fights with Thompson, Woodley was the one who hurt Thompson.
- BSBrendan Schaub
C- he-
- JRJoe Rogan
He hurt him bad.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Bad in both fights, almost stopped him in both fights.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, I don't wanna see the men fight again, but I hear you. Great fight.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, I, I-
- BSBrendan Schaub
I, I'll pa- hard pass for that.
- JRJoe Rogan
If it was a crazy UFC 200 card and that was on it, I wouldn't be mad.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Me neither.
- JRJoe Rogan
I mean, it was one of... (laughs)
- 14:33 – 19:15
Who can actually threaten Khabib? Ortega, Tony, and the ‘signature win’ debate
- BSBrendan Schaub
Back to Khabib. You know who I think... And I'm not just saying this 'cause he's my boy, I've known him forever. But you know who I think could be his Achilles heel, who matches up better with him than anyone?
- JRJoe Rogan
Who?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Everyone's overlooking. Brian Ortega.
- JRJoe Rogan
Ooh, that's a good point.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Brian Ortega's a big dude, at 55, easy weight cut for him.
- JRJoe Rogan
And can grapple his ass off.
- BSBrendan Schaub
But on the ground, on the ground, he's the most dangerous guy in the world right now.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, I think so too. I think the way he locks up submissions is very different. It's like if everybody else is hitting it at a seven or an eight, Ortega's hitting it at a 10, where you're watching, you go, "Oh, that's different."
- BSBrendan Schaub
And you haven't seen it.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
So for Khabib who... He's... How long... He's grappled fricking grizzly bears since he was four.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He... And he's seen Sambo.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He's seen bro- black belt jujitsu. He's seen all this stuff, you're not gonna catch him.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
With Ortega it's a little different and he actually encourages you to go to the ground.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And he's, he's dangerous on his feet, but on the ground is where he thrives.
- JRJoe Rogan
Isn't it funny how that thing about going to the ground... What is it? Brian says Ortega wrote, "For the record, Dana called me yesterday to see if I'd step in against Khabib since Max hadn't responded yet. I said yes." Eventually Max replied and Gave- Dana gave him the fight. "If all goes according to plan, I'll get my turn at both of them." Damn.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Ooh. Phenomenal fight with Ortega.
- JRJoe Rogan
Brian Ortega.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Br- just stylistically I went, "Mm." And if I'm Khabib, Khabib goes, "Why would I fight Ortega? He's a phenomenal fighter, but he doesn't have a belt, doesn't have a big name."
- JRJoe Rogan
Right. Right.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Why would... And it's the most dangerous fight for him, I think.
- JRJoe Rogan
And it's al- it's also, I mean, Ortega became a much bigger star with the Frankie Edgar knockout. Much bigger star. But, but...
- BSBrendan Schaub
He has a ways to go.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah. Max Holloway is one of the best-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Legit.
- JRJoe Rogan
... fighters on the planet. That's a really interesting fight. Tor- Ortega's got... There's something about his jujitsu, man. It's like it's on... It's just ramped up and sharpened down to, like, such a, just a razor's edge, man. When he grabs ahold of stuff, you like, you have very little room to get out. You know?
- 19:15 – 22:52
Beyond the main event: Till vs Wonderboy, Mighty Mouse’s dilemma, and injury realities
- BSBrendan Schaub
How about Wonderboy? I, I saw a quote-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... coming in here where he goes, "I'm not-"
- JRJoe Rogan
Who's Darren Till?
- BSBrendan Schaub
"... that impressed with Darren Till. Who is he?" I'm like, "Did you learn nothing from the Cowboy fight?" Even I learned from that. I talked shit... I was like, "Man, why would Cowboy take this?" I don't really know who Darren Till is, and then my inbox just flooded with shit.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And even Darren Till went off on me, and I looked at him. I went like, "Oh, my God, this guy's a monster."
- JRJoe Rogan
He's an animal. Doesn't he have a gorilla tattoo or something?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Does he?
- JRJoe Rogan
He's got gorillas all over his... Like, uses it in his screen name in Twitter.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Well, he's a gorilla.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) He's a gorilla.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He's a Liverpool go- gorilla.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) He's a bad motherfucker.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And for Wonderboy, who's rehabbing his thumbs, and it's just like, "All right."
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- BSBrendan Schaub
"If you want this..."
- JRJoe Rogan
Well-
- BSBrendan Schaub
And then what happens if Wonder... Let's say Wonderboy were, were to win, which I don't think he is, unfortunately. Let's say-
- JRJoe Rogan
Really?
- BSBrendan Schaub
I don't.
- JRJoe Rogan
You think-
- BSBrendan Schaub
I'm on the Till team.
- JRJoe Rogan
... you think Till's gonna get him?
- BSBrendan Schaub
I just... Yeah, I think there's this kinda-
- JRJoe Rogan
Are you a Darren Till dick ride?
- BSBrendan Schaub
A little bit.
- JRJoe Rogan
Little bit?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Right now, I'm, I'm hard dick riding on Khabib-
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- 22:52 – 31:08
UFC chaos economics: interim belts, rankings problems, stripping titles, and the Tony injury week
- BSBrendan Schaub
But now, now he's forced to fight. And I, I see what the UFC is doing where they do an interim belt between Colby and dos Anjos where the... You know, it's an interim belt, so now, Woodley, you literally have to fight the winner of this.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
You have to fight him.
- JRJoe Rogan
It's a very sneaky move.
- BSBrendan Schaub
They have a belt. What are you gonna do? You want a super fight? Nope, this guy has a belt. I get both sides here.
- JRJoe Rogan
Not only that, (coughs) if it's dos Anjos, if Dos- dos Anjos beats Colby, dos Anjos, lightweight champion, now welterweight champion. That's a-
- BSBrendan Schaub
It's a great fight.
- JRJoe Rogan
... big deal.
- BSBrendan Schaub
It's a great-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... great fight.
- JRJoe Rogan
You could have dos Anjos sitting there with two belts on his shoulders. I mean...
- BSBrendan Schaub
And then what do you do with Darren Till? Let's say he, for whatever reason, walks through Wonderboy, which is, you know-... tough to do. But say he walks through him, which Woodley, you know, struggled a little bit, walks through him and Wonderboy's the number one guy. Now Darren Till jumps up to number one. Or is it Dos Anjos-
- JRJoe Rogan
Does that work that way? Because the, the ratings are fucking screwy, man.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Oh, they're, they're-
- JRJoe Rogan
Some- sometimes I see a guy who beat a guy and then the- that guy who he beat is still ranked ahead of him.
- BSBrendan Schaub
They're a nightmare. All- all they are- all the ratings do now, it almost hurts if you're a guy like Sean Shelby or Dana trying to make these match-ups. 'Cause a guy who's at fourth, they go, "Hey, we want you to fight seven." He's like, "No, he's seven, I have nothing to gain from that." Where before it was like, "Hey, we want you to fight this guy. He's a name, he's on a seven-fight win streak."
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- BSBrendan Schaub
We don't know what ranking he is, but we know he's damn good.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- BSBrendan Schaub
So guys were more willing to take it. Now they, "Nope, he's seven?" (wipes hand of face)
- JRJoe Rogan
I- I want number one.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Exactly.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I need three, four, f- you know?
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, that's weird.
- BSBrendan Schaub
It hurts us.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, it's also weird, like, the UFC could just d- they just decide who's fighting. I mean, it's, the whole thing, the business is so interesting. Because it's like they decide who's fighting, they decide who's champion, they decide, "Tony, you're not champion anymore, we're gonna strip you."
- BSBrendan Schaub
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
It's like, but, I fell.
- 31:08 – 34:54
PEDs and performance talk: Canelo/Triple G, Manny’s rise, and modern strength & conditioning
- BSBrendan Schaub
And that, but it happens in sports. This, uh, this is what I think makes fighting so great, so great. Max has an opportunity that no one else in the world in sports can have.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And then, you know, then look at Canelo-Triple G. It's it, in, in combat sports, this is what we deal with.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Canelo, that's the biggest fight of the year, biggest fight everyone wants to see, the rematch of the year, and then tainted meat.
- JRJoe Rogan
Do you buy the tainted meat?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Absolutely not, sir. I've had many tacos in Mexico and I am not swole.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, but you're not getting tested for trace amounts of clembuterol.
- BSBrendan Schaub
You don't know.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- BSBrendan Schaub
(laughs) Maybe I have the Golden Snitch come to my house just for the fucks of it.
- JRJoe Rogan
Just to dribble-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Maybe I'm still in the testing protocol.
- JRJoe Rogan
Hmm. Interesting.
- BSBrendan Schaub
No, I, yeah, maybe, I don't know, but I would see some sort of change. But Tr- even Triple G's camp goes, "Uh, last fight he was on it. What else is new?"
- JRJoe Rogan
Now, why did Triple... Why do you think they said that?
- BSBrendan Schaub
He... I don't know. I'm sure, listen, I'm sure Gennady's been in there with, what, over 4, 500 people now? 400 people?
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And he just said in his experience he can tell who's on PEDs and who's not, and he thought Canelo was.
- JRJoe Rogan
(inhales) Do you buy that? Okay, like, what if you're fighting-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Uh, I do, I do, 'cause out of a fighter, as a fighter, there's guys I've fought who I assumed were.
- JRJoe Rogan
Okay, but what about Woodley? A guy like Woodley who has cr- tremendous genetics.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He's always been like that though.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right, always been like that, but so has Canelo, no?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Mm. You, you look at it, he's, he's gotten pretty swole. Now, he's getting older though, so it could be that too. He's just, as you get older, you put on more size.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, the big one was Manny. Manny was the one that everybody was always accusing. And Manny was the first... I mean, Manny went up eight weight classes (laughs) -
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
... and kept his knockout power.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He was fighting as a little boy and then just was like (snores)
- JRJoe Rogan
Crazy. I mean, and kept the knockout power.
- 34:54 – 42:51
Foot strength, barefoot training, and the home-gym era (Peloton, VersaClimber, rowing)
- BSBrendan Schaub
You know who's, who's been on that ball since, God, since I've known him, is Loren Landow-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... who I worked with in Denver now.
- JRJoe Rogan
Right.
- BSBrendan Schaub
He just got the gig as the num... He's the head conditioning coach of the Denver Broncos.
- JRJoe Rogan
Whoa.
- BSBrendan Schaub
But he was making us work out barefoot forever.
- JRJoe Rogan
Really?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Even as football players.
- JRJoe Rogan
Steve Maxwell was always on that too.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
All his kettlebell workouts and everything.
- BSBrendan Schaub
There's some of those guys who it's like, "Oh, this is all new." And then you talk to, like, a Loren or that Maxwell guy, they're like, "Uh, we've been doing this for like 20 years, so-"
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
"... you guys are just now finding out about it."
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, so many people. You know, you, you see so many people working out with, like, high, thick-ass running shoes that are all spongy on the bottom.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, I'd be one of them.
- JRJoe Rogan
(clears throat) Yeah, a lot of people do.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, I have knee pads.
- JRJoe Rogan
But, but you're not training for a fight right now. Do you know what I mean?
- BSBrendan Schaub
No. No.
- JRJoe Rogan
But if you were, you would try to optimize everything, wouldn't you?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, I, I, I used to wear those five, uh, finger-
- JRJoe Rogan
Mm-hmm.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I'd wear those to run, I'd wear those on the track, I'd wear those during, uh, most of my stuff.
- JRJoe Rogan
So now you just wear regular running shoes for comfort?
- BSBrendan Schaub
Regular running shoes and then w... I had a knee problem 'cause I was putting so many miles on it, now I'm on a bike. I got, I got one of those Pelotons.... so-
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah, those are dope.
- BSBrendan Schaub
... it's, it's been good.
- JRJoe Rogan
Those, uh, it's good because it's, you could play along and go along with a class and-
- 42:51 – 53:39
Injuries and recovery hacks: golfer’s elbow, PRP/stem cells, and the TheraBand ‘twist’ fix
- JRJoe Rogan
Hmm. That's how I got fat.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Well, you can s- you can still get a... You're crazy. You're crazy. Do I... For me to stick on a diet, s- I have to, I have to, uh, have a meal specialist, like, delivering my meals.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I'm that guy right now.
- JRJoe Rogan
I'm usually really good at it. But, but one thing this has done is ramped up my hill running. So I've been doing more hill running.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Oh, yeah, that's what...
- JRJoe Rogan
Are you the type of dude though-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Getting my butt doggone.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, I would see late night, you're always posting... Yeah, you got that fat ass. I always see when... PH fat. I see when, uh, at night when you come home from the comedy store, you're always posting, like, protein and veggies.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
Are you really eating that? Or are you, like... There's that and then you have McDonald's on the side?
- BSBrendan Schaub
(laughs)
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) No, no, I'm not doing McDonald's.
- BSBrendan Schaub
You know what I'm saying?
- JRJoe Rogan
If I cheat, it's pasta.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Dude, me- that was last night.
- JRJoe Rogan
Or, or, I ate a whole pizza the other day.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Fucking giving up. Where, where from?
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) It was at a restaurant.
- BSBrendan Schaub
(sighs) Fucking right.
- JRJoe Rogan
I went with, uh, with the missus, and, uh, we ordered some other stuff and I said, "Let's just get a pizza too."
- BSBrendan Schaub
Right, that's how it starts.
- JRJoe Rogan
And then she had one, she's like, "I'm not really into this." I'm like, "Good."
- BSBrendan Schaub
(growls) Bro, that's me, man.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) I, I wolfed the whole pizza down.
- BSBrendan Schaub
I know.
- JRJoe Rogan
Ate that whole fucking pizza.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And then I'm so disappointed in myself. I, I had these, I had these meals, man. I've, I've been strict on it. When I'm on the road it's fucking tough. Or when I... If I'm, like, getting any sleep, my body craves sugar and carbs.
- JRJoe Rogan
Yep. Yep. Always.
- BSBrendan Schaub
But then I'm screwed.
- 53:39 – 59:18
Cheat meals, diet discipline, and body-image comedy (pizza, pasta, jeans, ‘badonkadonk’)
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah, thanks, bud.
- JRJoe Rogan
I think it's, it's a fun show too.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah.
- JRJoe Rogan
What I like about it is you're being you on that show.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yes.
- JRJoe Rogan
Like you, like I see you on that show, I'm like, "Oh, they let him be himself." Like you say a bunch of silly shit-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Because it's true.
- JRJoe Rogan
... you're laughing. There's a lot of cracking up.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yeah. I have fun. They let me do my thing. The first one it was like there was a lot of teleprompter and I was like, "God, that's really not my thing. You gotta let me go." And they listened to me. That's the great thing about Showtime, they listen to me, but the fans were like, "Man, this isn't why we listen to Brendan, to be another fricking sports show."
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
"Like you gotta let him go."
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs) Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
And literally they all were like, "All right, here you go, man. Here's your points. Do what you wanna do." I'm like, "Really?"
- JRJoe Rogan
Yeah.
- BSBrendan Schaub
But then they edit it so I don't get in trouble.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
- BSBrendan Schaub
(laughs) Like on my podcast.
- JRJoe Rogan
On your podcast. (laughs)
- BSBrendan Schaub
... which is why there's showtime in, um, what I do.
- JRJoe Rogan
Well, that, I mean, this is w- what we talked about the other day with Yves Edwards-
- BSBrendan Schaub
Ugh.
- JRJoe Rogan
... when Yves was in here. That was, that's one of those things, like, and I was saying, when you talk as much as we talk, uh, w- we both... I talk too much, you talk too much, we talk too much.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Yes.
- JRJoe Rogan
When you talk too much, shit comes out of your mouth-
- BSBrendan Schaub
You're gonna step in some shit.
- JRJoe Rogan
... and then you're scrambling trying to, like, make it make sense.
- BSBrendan Schaub
Joe, I c- and, uh, I- I can't... I- I didn't listen to the podcast with Yves. I- I like Yves. We don't know each other that well. The thing that bothers me about this is, I couldn't even tell you the point I was trying to make.
- JRJoe Rogan
(laughs)
