      It's two things. One, uh, he needs exercise, he's young, he lo- he loves to run with me. And two, it's a real good form of exercise.

    3. It's like it's... I know it's more beneficial than the elliptical machine.

    7. It made my ass bigger, made my legs bigger. Like they all got bigger. Like especially, like, I could feel why pants fit different.

      Yeah.

    11. 'Cause I'm... Yeah, because I've only been doing this for like two years.

    12. Pushing yourself up. Plus also-

    13. For four hours.

    14. ... you're out in nature, it's gotta be he- healthy for you too. Oh, yeah. For sure. Oh, yeah.

    15. But before that, I was doing just weight lifting stuff with my, for my legs. I would do like squats or I would do cleans and presses and overheads, you know, do like presses with the kettlebells overhead and stuff like... Which is all great, it's all really good stuff, but it's not sustained motion. There's something about the sustained motion of running hills that I think boosts your vitality, it gives you more energy.

    17. Because you're, you're, you have to work so... To run a hill is one of the more-

    19. ... difficult things to do in exercise. It's just, if you gotta fucking-

    21. You just get- You're basically doing like body weight squats with one leg over and over and over again.

    22. God, it sucks when you're going uphill at a 45-degree-

      But it's so beneficial.

      Yeah.

      When I went to hitting the bags, what I would do is on, uh, on days I would do that, I would run and then I would get on the elliptical machine or I'd run and I'd get on the bike or I'd run... The, the Echo Bike, which is like, uh, an Airdyne.

      Ugh, fuck.

      Beefed up Airdyne machine.

      Those things fuck you up.

      Yeah, it wouldn't go up much.

      It wouldn't go up much even under a smaller variable. But I think that what those other people are at the top are probably fitness instructors. And that's what-

      Oh, that was my other cheap plan. Go to the gym with $15 and say, "Please wear this and I'll give you $15."

      I just figured it wasn't too much. But I would have to do it a lot. Fuck this. I'll tell you. Let me... I'll like, I'll walk you through my plan the whole month.

      What was your plan?

    18. BK

      Do not get hurt. That was number one.

      That's a good plan.

      I was like, "Don't get hurt." Because if I get hurt, get shin splints-

      ... or get heel spurs, I'm fucked.

      Oh, when did I think you were out?

      Five days in.

      Oh, I was so excited at the prospect of you being out.

      Anytime someone's like, "I think I fucking had it."

      How excited were you?

      Yeah, and I, and I should weigh what, 75 to 80.

      And then I got up to, like, 83, 87 last year after the cruise.

      Yeah, we, we weigh like significantly more. (laughs)

      Yeah, more. And it's like, I'm not doing... You guys are actually working out.

      Yeah.

      You can eat fucking normal, idiots.

      Oh, yeah. No, no. I, I actually, I... Towards the end of it-

      I don't eat that good.

      Towards the end I started... I'd hear... You know, you, uh, probably maybe I'm the per- person who probably listens to this podcast the most. But you hear people talk about health and how they eat and you... And then in that challenge, the very last week I started going... Looking at food a tad bit differently going like, "I don't wanna feel like shit."

    13. TS

      Yeah.

    14. JR

      "I don't want pizza. I don't want..." I didn't want carbs. I wanted protein 'cause I get done a workout and I go, "Let's do four eggs and some... And a steak."

    15. TS

      Yeah.

    16. JR

      Like, I bought... I ordered a bunch of buffalo steaks and I was like... And which it's so crazy is I'd never... I was like, "Water. Yeah, I need water." Like, I'd never looked at food as sustenance.

      How, how crazy did you get, like, with eating when it was like really- (laughs)

    18. TS

      When it was what?

    19. JR

      On the fucking plane. You know when they walk by with that little basket?

    20. TS

      Yeah.

    21. JR

      I was like, "Oh, I'll take, uh, all this shit."

    22. TS

      (laughs)

      I mean, fucking popcorn is going noggin.

      'Cause when you're doing the two workouts a day, the two-a-days, which I had a bunch of-

      Hungry.

      ... you could ne- yeah, you were hungry just all the time.

      When I did th- that whole five and a half hours on the elliptical, I ate a box of animal crackers and I drank cream soda.
