Corbell and Knapp detail 2019 and 2021 events where U.S. warships were swarmed by dozens of unknown objects tracked simultaneously by radar, thermal, and optical systems—often near training ranges and nuclear platforms. These objects reportedly lacked visible propulsion, evaded drone-downing systems, sometimes entered the water, and were not plausibly explained as commercial drones or balloons, raising flight-safety and intelligence concerns.

They reference exotic alloys and layered metamaterials—some said to be atomically ordered in ways we cannot yet reproduce and possibly manufactured in zero gravity—as evidence of non-human technological origin. These materials are reportedly held by defense contractors, government labs, and a few private researchers, yet extensive DIA-funded studies (AAWSAP) remain almost entirely classified.
